First film of 2008 brings in new year

Start the year off right with Metal Gear: The Movie trailer, now playing in the Vault.
And with the new year comes exciting news: the next feature-length film is well underway! The film will be unlike anything produced before by Downpour, and will most definately impress. With new faces, new films, but with the same high-quality product, 2008 will definately be an amazing year for Downpour Productions.
The Forum Gets a Facelift
- We've moved from development of site features to giving the Forum a much needed facelift. It should only take a few days at very latest and the Forum might look kinda weird during that time while we test things out. Thanks for your patience!

Technical Issues with the Vault Resolved
- Last night, there were some issues with vault pages and IE7 compatibility. All of those issues have been resolved and The Vault is back at full power!
Downpour Productions Launches New Look

Welcome to the new Downpour Productions official website! This day marks the second time the website has been under redesign, and we look better than ever thanks to our newest team member, Kyle Leitch. He has done an outstanding job, and will lend a digital hand in our upcoming films very soon as well. Email him at KyleLeitch@gmail.com, and be sure to tell him what a wonderful job he's done!
In other news, a new short film has been released in celebration of the new website. Right With Wrong, starring Karland Paez, Matt Rogge, and Angel Everson is now available in the Vault for viewing. Don't forget to join the Forum and post comments about it, good or bad as always. Everyone have a nice day, and enjoy the films and new website!

Resident Evil: RELIVED Released

Resident Evil: RELIVED is now available to the public! Head on over to the Theater right away to watch the exciting sequal to last year's Resident Evil: REBIRTH. The film is sure to please, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the best fanfilm this summer has to offer!

A new addition to the website, the Forum message board, is now open. Head on over there to register with just your email to join and help start the community. The forum will be a place to ask questions and get answers quicker than email or updates here on the main page, and to discuss opinions, good or bad, about Downpour and other things. Enjoy!

To keep you held over until RELIVED is finally complete, a new short film has been added to the Vault. This one features everyone's favorite super spy, agent 007. A second short film will be put up later on as well, for a total of two new shorts for you to enjoy.

Updates have been absent to the website lately. In addition, earlier on the MySpace, a bulletin was posted saying that a new trailer for RELIVED would be showing up soon. However, obviously this is not the case. In good news...this could only mean one thing. We are extremely close to finishing the film! Most of it is already in the can, leaving a few scenes to be shot. After that is done, editing must be accomplished, and that is all! Thank you to all the fans for the patience, it is about to pay off.
In other news, Downpour is now collecting names. The need for extras is great in the movie world. If you are interested in helping with a future production, add yourself to the contact list by sending an email with your information here. Please note: This is NOT an obligation, saying you will be in something. It is simply reference for us to contact you with in the event we need extra people. By sending a message, you are NOT promising to do anything.

At long last, Resident Evil: REBIRTH is now back online! Head to the Theater to watch it on our new Google Video system. Also, new videos have been added to the Vault. Head over there to check out the very old pieces of Downpour.

In other news, the hosting issue seems to have finally been resolved, so expect Resident Evil: REBIRTH to be back up later today.

With a whole new look leading us into a whole new year, Downpour continues to work at Resident Evil: RELIVED at it's completion. Also, the good folks at Vidilife are no longer with us, as we have switched over to Google Video Beta, which means the issue with Resident Evil: REBIRTH is now currently being fixed. The movie should be online within the next few days, so hold on tight.

Our site is soon to undergo re-design in order to fit upcoming demands. Expect to see a "Vault", where recently discovered Downpour originals will be stored. In other news, Resident Evil: REBIRTH is, for some reason, unable to run correctly. However trailers for REBIRTH and RELIVED are functioning normally. We are working hard at resolving this problem.

As you may have noticed, it has been almost three months since the last update to the website. However, this is not because the site has become 'dead'. On the contrary, it is due to a very exciting development; we at Downpour have been busying ourselves in creating our next masterpiece! Head on over to the Projects for a detailed view and trailer or Downloads for just the trailer. Additional media will not be updated until the film's release, however our new addition to the website, the Progress Chart, will be updated regularly. It is located in the Projects section. Other than the updates on Projects, somehow or another the Hit Counter seems to not wish to cooperate. It will be re-set to the numeral 219, as this was where it was prior to the crash. Enjoy!
